The Scott Air System Is The Main System Used By Our Air Pack Team. We have 4 Scott 4.5 PAcks And Two Scott 2.2 Packs. We Also Have 4 One Hour Aluminum Air Bottles which Are Compatible With The 4.5 Pack Assemblies Only. There Are Disadvantages To The Air Packs Such As Limited Visibility, Decreased Ability To Communicate, Increased Weight, Decreased Mobility, And Air Supply Limitation, However, The SCBA Units Greatly Increase Our Chances Of Saving Lives And Allow Us To Fight Fires Directly At Their source, Saving Time And Reducing Capitol Loss. These Advantages Clearly Outweigh The Disadvantages.
